No doubt, Max. I would say that when it comes to the demise of Fury Road, Gibson is the antagonist.

Could it be that maybe Gibson and Miller are keeping things extremely quiet?.... Could they be purposely know exactly what is going on-- filming MM4 in secret beyond secret? After all, why would they cancel something if they have scores of props and crews and vehicles they made? If Mel truly cancelled out then how would HE feel if some celebs cancelled out on him after signing a contract?





Get Russel Crowe to play Max or Max's son Max JR?--a son he never knew he had or something? Or, Russel Crow could play Max, period. Seriously. It worked perfectly in Shaft 2000 with Samuel Jackson as Shaft's nephew that also goes by the name of John Shaft.

I don't think u can seperate the 2 that easy..........Mel is Max, which makes Max Mel.


To me it would be a very hard to adapt to a different actor as Max. Although I'd prefer that to no Max at all it would not be the same IMO.

As far as we know have Gibson or Miller ever officially said that Road Fury was not going to be made? Does anyone know that they did or didn't state this?

The EFNY double disc is a sort of holy bible to me. There's a NAMCO game in production, and that's why SNAKE's legend is growing day by day, being the greatest anti-hero/bastard motherf**ker who ever graced the screen since THE MAN WITH NO NAME.





MAX is George Miller.

If they can't make the fourth one properly, I'm glad they're not going to bother. Leave the legend alone.

I think that if Gibson did do the Mad Max Fury Road, then he probably wouldn't have played the role to the hilt- he wouldn't have played the role very seriously. and since George Miller, nowadays, does movies that revolve around little kids and talking animals (he plans on doing a Babe III) then yah- leave Mad Max alone. Tom, can't have something based in North America and not have the states play a prominent role!

Wow, how have I never found this site before?


I think a good movie would be a redo of Mad max 1 from Toecutters gangs perspective, start with Nightrider being arrested and makeing a break for it. After that follow the gang through a couple of weeks of chaos, with those pesky MFP officers constantly harassing them. Then end with Toecutter dieing the rebal heros death.


I don't know just a thought, hey don't get mad I love Max too just looking for something new.

Thanks for your concern. I understand that. However, none of the Mad Max movies made mention (gave names to) any countries that were in a third world war. They let the viewers come up with their own interpretations. In fact, Austin Pike is American- his great relatives were from the deep south. I will be trying to arrange for second unit camera operators to film individual shots from their countries, states and provinces so as to give the movies a more three dimensional pull in stating that the US and Canada are not alone.

Not a bad idea. That kind of a twist is somewhat similar to a tale in a 1998 Thomas Harris novel


called "Hannibal" and a 1991 novel by Brett Easton Ellis called "American Psycho" which, to me, is the most graphic and violent book ever made. It gets a triple X rating. No kidding.
