MAD MAX sh*t...
Razorback is a crackin movie .....you'll never look at pigs the same way again!
Watched Taxi 3 again last week after Bubba mentioned the MM poster, it's growing on me, Taxi 3 is OK not as good as the other 2 .Sly Stallone has a cameo role in Taxi 3, Daniel gives him a lift to the airport....
Y'all know that Luc Besson's original plan for the 'English version' of Taxi was to set it in Dublin with Colin Farrell as 'Daniel' and Jimeoin as 'Emilien' ?? ...Dublin County Council wouldn't shut parts of Dublin off for shooting plus Insurance issues meant it was 'canned'.

Hey Rock, you ever saw a movie called 'Dead End Drive-In' ? The owner of the local Video rental store (an Aussie) recons as an MM fan I'd love it... he's trying to locate a copy for me.

I started a whole Thread on RAZORBACK early last year, listing not only the MAD MAX locations, but also the other similiarities to ROAD WARRIOR, like Vehicles in it, plus ARKIE WHITELEY's in it, but noone really liked it, then - maybe you guys gave it another look.
Na BILL, i've never see DEAD END, but i've read that its got lots of MAD MAX type sh*t in it, like MIDNIGHT SPARES, that not only has BRUCE SPENCE in it, but coolarse towtrucks, with MFP style paint work, and MONZA fronts.
Plus i forgot ROAD GAMES, i started a Thread on that few months ago - not only got MAD MAX 2 style music in it, (BRIAN MAY did the score, but got XD FALCON copcars, with roof spoilers, and Monza fronts too.

I'll look up that Razorback thread Rock. I've never saw Midnight Spares, I've been looking for a copy of it for feckin ages, would love to see it.
Road Games was on TV a few weeks ago, I'd forgotten how good it was, there's a big MM connection in it ...Grant Page is the "baddie"
Rock, you ever saw the doco 'Kangaroo Hitchcock: The Making of 'Road Games' ' ??
MAD MAX sh*t...
Don't forget Steve Millichamp was one of the cops in Road Games with a seventies style porn mustache!

Dead End Drive-in has recently been released on DVD and frequently appears on Ebay ... well worth buying just to freeze frame on my personal cameo... not!
... and to be a pain in the ring pedant Rock the towtrucks in Midnite Spares don't have Monza fronts ... they have replica trans am pontiac fronts grafted to HQ one tonners.
Billy ... where did you see Kangaroo Hitchcock?
I believe that both Razorback and Midnite Spares are set for DVD release in the near future.
Another film with Grant Page 'acting' is Deathcheaters ... two ex-commandos working as freelance operatives or some such ... good for a laugh anyway.

... Oh yeah ... forgot the Max sh*te angle ...
I'm not sure if this one's been mentioned before but I had the unfortunate experience of watching 'Speed Deamons' the other day ... think Fast and Fatuous meets Buffy withjout the wit or charm of either ... and was bowled over by a MM rip-off.
There is a scene where the black clad hero comes across one of his enemies working under a car. In true max meets the mechanic style the heoes boots are seen then the car is lowered onto the guy underneath.
If you get the chance to see this film do something else ... anything else ... you've been warned!

Yeah your right XA, they were TRANS AM's, i only look at the cover briefly in the video shops, and you know how real quick glance the Trans am's 'slanted triangle' kinda look, can resemble a MONZA.
Any AUSSIE's watch ABC. in the morning, before dropping the kids off at school?
Well this morning i saw an add to a show starting soon called THUNDERSTONE, not sure of the plot, something about time travel maybe, but it certainly looks as if its borrowing the CRACK IN THE ARSE kids theme - the add not only showed all these 'feral' girls and boys in the exact same animal skin costumes, and hair do's as the THUNDERDOME kids, but it showed a couple of quick glimpses of Frames and big engines on wheels, straight out of FARTERtown, tearing across the Desert.
Anyone who gets a chance to watch it, bring it up - cause it starts at about 8.30, that s when i leave for work and the kids school, right after WILD THORNBURRY's, so i won't catch it.

Wasn't that Thunderstone show already on Pete's site a long time ago?
I just saw a commercial for a movie called Saw. There is a guy chained to a pipe. somebody says that the killer guy's intent was for him to saw through his leg, not the chain.
