Where did max get water?

Yeah, water is no problem.... Death Valley , California is one of the hottest, most godforsaken places ( + 130 degree ) in North America but on ANY given day during mid-summer I could take you out there and show you water trickling from a hole in the rocks or coming out of a hole in the ground. You just have to know where to look. MAX most likely had a copy of the S.A.S. survival guide in the glove box of the BoB. A sheet of plastic is all you need.

March Hare is right on the money. With a little foresight, and if you don't mind being in one place for a little while, you can rig up fairly easily a contraption to snag any "night-time moisture" (dew, etc.) I don't remember the exact method, but yes, it does involve some plastic... and I think a hole in the ground. (?) It's an old survival tactic, with it you can get water anywhere, even the sahara. With Max's world fairly 'parched,' which is a possible long-term outcome of a nuclear holocaust, lush areas of vegitation (like crack in the earth) would be very rare. I think that this survival tactic is the most probable notion. Correct me, please. I don't pretend to know that I'm 100% right, but this is a question that has come up in my head before, so it'd be cool to hear some other ideas.
