Is this a test, Walker?

Thank-you all for your kind words.

This was actually my first go at "Fan Fiction" I have written about real events that occurred relating to the replicas, but never a fiction thing.

My friend the late "California" was a master of fan fiction. So not only was her death a tragic event but also the loss of her work (none of which was ever on her web site, so it is truly gone). Some of her stuff was as brilliant and captivating as any book I have ever read. Cal (an Honors student in English literature) had written a few chapters of her book "Peacekeepers", (MAD MAX 4) when she died.

Anyhow.. to the lighter topic..

I had a quick read through and spotted a few minor spelling and grammar things that once "Cal" would correct for me and this time I missed when writing. But apart from that it seems OK.

The second fuel and air delivery system is a method that Grant was looking at as a possible way to get the blower to work on/off like in the film.

All the other stuff is a wish list really for a streetable monster motor. Some of the parts are actually taken from the big block replica that we are building now.

The Cobra Jet rods, forged pistons and stuff. The "trickflow" heads (I mention in the second "Road Warrior" part) are genuine alloy items for big blocks, there is a set sitting in engine builder Graham Dowdings' workshop right now, but not for me, they are right out of my price league.

Anyhow with the short internet attention spans I expect that only a few people will ever read right through the story, but I hope that those who do shall enjoy it.

It was fun writing it.

Regards

Gordon

Gordon,

Thanks. I spotted few "spelling" errors and fixed them (of course)... I hope it works now - LOL! Fantastic job, man. Really.

Gordon... I still got the last, touching e-mails/dissertations Cal sent me... I would like her family and friends would read them... How can I do? Please, contact them, explain who I'm and I will send the stuff to someone.

I trust in you. Really. She deserves that.
