I'm gonna watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation this weekend. I watch it every year to get me into the Christmas spirit.

Revised Xmas message ... due to last message being penned having just got off a plane with an inner ear infection and having just blown A head gasket on my Cobra thereby crueling my plans for Chrissie cruising ...

A HAPPY AND SAFE XMAS TO ALL ON THE BOARD ... IT'S A REFUGE FROM THE REAL WORLD FOR ALL OF US.

Trust me ... on a 6am flight to Brisvegas an inner ear infection ... both ears no less .. felt as though the guy behind me was sticking knotting needels in my ear every few minutes. It was made worse by knowing I had to fly back the same evening ... Oh the pain!

The next day I brought the Cobra into work for some students who were recreating a scene from Blue Velvet (I got to be Frank Booth ) and the thing fizzed on the way home ... more stem than a turkish bath.

What with two kids and Christmas the cash flow (or lack thereof) means it'll be late Jan before I can fix it ... did I mention that I'm bak at work by then?

In the scheme of things it's all pretty small fry. I have my family, my home and the tattered remnants of my health.

Happy Cristrmas to you and yours Drive.

Hey Drive

I've yet to figure the ICQ thing .... I'm a lousy typist as well as a ludite.

Anyway I have the dreaded Christmas Party tonight.

For some reason I get to organise it each yesr. We have a band made up of sudents and staff ... tonights theme is 70's Vegas. We've turned one of our studios into a reasonable replica of a tacky 70's casino and I get to be Elvis! This should be fun with an ear and throat infection. The sound student will then DJ into the early hours.

I am due on set somewhere in Rockdale at 7am to act in a Tropfest film for an ex student. Just the thing with a hangover!
