He is paying for the domain. Last time I talked to him he cited personal life as the reason for not updating the site as well as its outdated design.
It's understandable.
However, it'd be nice to have it updated, especially because there's another Mad Max film coming up and people still visit this place for some news. In fact, the most hardcore fans of this franchise are in here, not only them, but even people who made those movies. It's up to Peter if he wants to completely abandon this place, or let it thrive, because the Mad Max series is indeed thriving as we speak.

It's good to know he's still around at least and can totally understand when people need to step away from maintaining a complex page like this. He built a fantastic fan site and maintained it regularly for well over 15 years. Maybe he decided that seeing it through to the release of Fury Road was enough.
I know I have found out a ton of stuff about the movies that I didn't know before, seen some fantastic photos, and still learn something new from the board from time to time, mostly from your posts, Taipan. I'll keep coming back just for them.
