He can be tired that everybody ask him the same question again and again, but, honestly, the macho thing and the moustache in Commando, it's really a gay iconic thing... even if the character's not gay !

For MM2, sure that the character CAN'T be gay, it's not like we have Smegma's crazies and Gayboy Berserker ! :D

I personally always kinda dug that Wez was (or wasn't) Gay, i liked that it not only scared the fuck out of the strictly hetero fans and that it was just plane the most original idea ever.
To make a character so scary and savage, also playing against typical.
Anyone seen THE WIRE?
That character of Omar little - it's the same thing, the guys a pure predator, but also sucks dick. Doesn't change his menacing character, just a slight change in the norm.

Yeah I strongly agree with this.

Well, Benett from Commando is really a comicbook villain. It's totally irrelevant whether he's gay or not. It's the one-liners that count. :D

Also, Wez's sexual orientation is again not explained, but that golden boy is presented in pure sexual SM/bondage/domination fashion. There's *nothing* paternal in their relationship on screen.

And I've seen one interview with Vernon Wells, where he seems REALLY insecure about the whole gay thing, to the point of almost harassing the woman sitting next to him, I guess to prove his straight-ness. I mean, wtf dude, so the character you played is sadistic gay biker, so what?!? Got issues with that? :?

It's like Willem Dafoe explaining his character in Boondock Saints is completely straight because he beat the sh!t out of that other gay dude he woke next to, ffs.
