Nice car and I have same roof problem as 73 Mustang had the cursed vinyl roof.
I like the look and chebby motor easy to work on and replace.

,got the rear spoiler pieces on and secured the tanks, ..coming together.. Happy Thanksgiving!

built the metal stand in the engine compartment the blower sits on, ran outta battery to take a pic, next is radiator install and start on the nose. Also on the hunt for a wider pulley if anyone has one laying around.. 8-)

did some work to the taillights (blacked out center) and ive torn down the entire front end to replace all bushings and coil springs,add disc brakes, before i build the nose for the car. Hopefully this summer ill be chasing down road scag..

added a little Australian weathering to give the car a more RW look. (house wood stain) still tinkering with the suspension. Also need to change out timing chain while im at it.. :mrgreen:

well it took me 4 months but i got the front end back together and pulled it into the sun. Now ive gotta start on the radiator and the nose. and clean my shop.

That is lookin really good! I love to see these awesome tribute cars! This one reminds me of another that was about to take shape in the long ago past, all you guys from the old days will remember this for sure.

Pretty cool.

Got one suggestion/Question if you don't mind...
Have you given any thought to having the roof spoiler line up with the natural spoiler-like line on the roof?

I did a bit of a mock-up of a roof spoiler on my '73 (Mostly out of card stock & masking tape) following that line.. I think it would have worked out pretty good.
