I still need to modify the zoomies on the MM 1 car I just haven't quite figured out what I'm going to use. I found some metal tube stock at a hobby shop. But can't work out how to flare the tips or how much I need to cut the pipes back to ge the correct height.

You should be able to flare the tips of the brass rods from a hobby store with an awl or maybe a big nail if you dont have an awl.

What's that black Veritech? Is that a Toynami relase. It looks too big to be a Bandai HCM, and the hand isnt right for their 1/55 models.

It's a Yamoto release it's a 1/48 scale VF1-S 25th Anniversary Model from the movie Macross Do You Remeber Love. Macross was the origianl Japanese series that became Robotech here in the states. I got it from Angolz.com. The super strike armor I got from Amazon. The hands are from my Yamato 1/60 scale VF1-S. I like them better than the ones that came on it. They stay on and hold the gun better I just haven't got around to painting them black. It's an okay piece if you don't try and play around with it too much. It's beautiful to look at in any mode battleoid, gerwalk, or fighter plane but it's quite delicate and kinda flimsy especially in the leg joints which is a common problem with the 1/48 scale. So I just picked a mode to display it in and leave it alone. The 1/60 scale is much more sturdy and poseable. I just thought it looked cool bookended by my Masterpiece Optimus Prime and Masterpiece Megatron.
