Yeah, please no techno. Dark, metal and industrial but orchestra. I don't want to hear ANY recognizable songs from known artists. It takes the "timeless" feel out of the movie, IMO.
I would absolutely hate metal or techno. That would be an awful decision. I'm assuming it will be an orchestra, like the first three.
Think of how dated TRW would be if it had cheesy metal playing in it. Symphonic scores make the tale timeless, and do not root the story in a certain era. Kubrick started it with 2001 and Lucas hammered it home with Star Wars.
Guys, Do anybody know where I can get the siren australian sound from the V8 interceptor on my car?
I want to install a siren that sounds the same like the movie. I have see the actual sirens that light up on sale,
but that is just the siren, what about the actual siren system sound?
any help I will appreciate it.
You can throw in any contemporary artist to do the score and it will date badly, it never works for the film, it leaves a time stamp on the movie. It's something you don't want if you want your movie to stand the test of time.
Taipan wrote:CLASSICAL SCORE! Why? Because it doesn't date.

yeah, Bladerunner has dated so badly with that Vangelis score.
I beg to differ. The score Vangelis did for "Blade Runner" is an amazing and beautiful score that is not dated. Long live '80s music.
But, on the topic of "Mad Max 4: Fury Road" I would prefer a classical score, and I'm postitive that is what we will recieve. Though, I will admit it would be cool to here some '70s and '80s punk/metal/rock, etc. coming out of the speaker truck. Siouxsie & The Banshees Spellbound comes to mind.
