1970 Ford Falcon Torino Coupe on E-Bay Rolling Shell, looks pretty straight and would be a great starting point for a Pursuit Special! It's on the wrong coast for me (NJ) but the price is pretty low!

Seen it... But the correct Torino would be the 70-71 fastbacks. Coupes are cool, but not as cool as the sports roofs.

I agree with that, but the sporsroof is the hard/expensive one to find, and really any/all of them are getting rare, this one could be done right and look really cool. The relatively small price of entry is what makes this one attractive

Just for that reason I would not be able to hack one up myself by adding those scoops and such. But that wouldn't mean color. If I ever end up with one it'll end up black on black with a nice strong v8 under the hood.

I hear you there too, If I were in a position to do one I'd go with a 71-73 Montego Sedan and do the Marked MFP Interceptor thing, minimal body mods: just the roof & chin spoiler and some yellow paint! Lightbar bolts on and the graphics can be painted or done in vinyl. Toss a (seriously) warmed up Windsor in the engine box do the suspention and brakes and it will certainly look the part without too much hacking.

23 hours left and no bids? someone could get in on this DIRT CHEAP!

Check out this page to see a Torino Coupe (aka Formal Roof) done up as an interceptor tribute car.
