A better reference on the same vehicle would be this one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3mRqBuiQA4&NR=1
They mention it is for a "Hollywood prop vehicle". Comments posted on the video suggest it is for MM4

Found objects sculptor Michael Ulman "decorated the inside and outside of hundreds of cars" on Mad Max 4.
Lots of pictures of his work at that link.
He has his own website as well. His 'Gone Postal' may be familiar to some folks here.

Posted by Dave Seliger | 5 Jan 2012
"Did I ever tell you my Mad Max story?" asks Michael Ulman, a found objects sculptor from outside Boston. A gallery interested in representing Ulman told him to expect a call from a production crew; a few days later, George Miller, director of the Mad Max films, was on the line. When asked if he had ever heard of Mad Max, Ulman responded, 'What? Mad Max is my favorite movie EVER.'"
Ulman has trouble getting the words out to describe how the mysterious conference call led to a three month excursion to Australia where he decorated the inside and outside of hundreds of cars with found objects based on the movie's gang affiliation and the character. "They gave us a wad of cash and we'd go to junkyards to buy whatever we wanted...It was a dream job."

Also in the collection are several of Max's own pursuit vehicles, made to resemble the ''Interceptor'', a juiced-up Ford XB GT Falcon coupe driven in the original movie. The number of these vehicles suggests Max's car may again meet a fiery end, as it did in Mad Max 2: Road Warrior.

That article has a bit more wording. It says the vehicles left port last week.
That appears to be the same tractor and trailer seen in the distance up at Mundi Mundi. The tank looks like the kind that holds pressurized gas. I also see a skull in the tractor's grill. A shame there are no photo's of the Interceptors.
For whatever reason, the backround was removed from the one pic.

That's a bit perplexing: If Fury Road is a prequel to MM2, then how can the Interceptor roll over in Fury Road and then be intact in MM2?
Also, how do you know what's in the script?
Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
It's now becoming clearer that the movie involves time travel.flightsuit wrote:how can the Interceptor roll over in Fury Road and then be intact in MM2?

It's amazing what you can find by dumpster diving.
The more I look at those trucks, the more I like them. They do have a certain style that gives them character.
