looks too clean and shiny, maybe Batman but not mad max. Where are the dents, dust, improvised fuel tanks...... I`ll bet this car is, er, SAFE and ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY though

There's a follow up in the latest TG magazine haven't got it but will try and get a copy, but all up what i can gather is this maybe an exercise to get more of the younger generation in to Mad Max as to design a more modern Interceptor but i have to agree i prefer the classic XB from MM1 and 2, this concept car looks to clean, futuristic and would suit a more futuristic landscape not the post apocalyptic desert.

OK, so let me get this right.

"A few years from now" a MFP officer what was to be considered the ultimate in police motoring, a blown XB hardtop.
Then fuel ran out, blah blah (you know the story).
Then with no civilisation, no fuel, indutrial sector, a car is designed, financed and build?

It the current Ford motor company that stupid?

Any idea of a new interceptor is ludicrous.

What an insult to the original Interceptor. It bears no resemblence to the original Interceptor or anything related to Mad Max. I hate most new cars and this new Ford is another reason why.

And what is this FG falcon they are talking about?
Its the current Falcon.... http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/Satellit ... r&site=FOA

Getting back to the designs, while i dont mind the designs themselves, as a "madmax" car they are tooooo futuristic.
What they shoulda done was use the orginal XB design and rehashed it somewhat to look more modern.... etc... like Ford did with the retro look Mustang.
We are 100% snafu....

I like the concepts, I think they're great.

When MadMax was made the Pursuit Special was supposed to be brand new and leading edge, verging on futuristic. This is just the same idea applied to today's times.

Personally I think they're a little too futuristic looking, I'd prefer to see something based around the current Falcon

Every single one of those cars is arse.

I truly fear for MM4 if this is the sort of dribbling shit they expect us to enjoy.
