i'll bet you wish you had that cuda now (worth a wee-bit-more)
it might only be a toy, but it's not even close. they could have at least used a four door sedan! what they've done here is a cheap cash-in on a cult classic but avoided paint royalties.
i just find it annoying, like the smart car with General Lee paint scheme. it's just wrong on so many levels.
ya know, I hear you on the different car models used, but to me, JL has made so many cool high quality interesting diecasts that I collect and love, that I don't fault them for doing these MFPs on the different car platforms.
do I wish all JL models including these MFP ripoffs had rubber wheels? yeah.
do I wish they were correct 4-door Falcons? yeah.
but I still think it was an inspired choice by JL to do these, and they look good sitting next to my other customized MM and RW 1:64's. if they paid the lic fee, these little cars would cost you and me way more, and that ruins the economics of the production run because then you limit your customer base and JL can't do that.
they are close enough, especially with the killer paint job & graphics, that I like em. and so do many others as evidenced by what they go for on ebay.
I like Johnny Lightnings - i have plenty of their dayonas and superbirds, even the speed rebel wing things.
But the MFP cars are a scam.

I never saw thes in the store. I might ahve picked them up. Not paying e-bay prices for them though.
JL was probably just being cheap and didnt want to pay for new tooling on a car they couldn't get any 1:1 reference, for what they thought would be a niche item.
yeah, it's a huge scam, what a ripoff, they are ripping people off for the incredibly immense amount of money known as $2.99US.
or are they $2.49US? I forget which huge amount of money JL is charging for these awful ripoffs.
whatever, it's a HUGE SCAM! in fact you open the package and the car disappears into thin air! HUGE SCAM.
don't you as a Mad Max fan really feel taken advantage of by JL? I mean, the injustice of it all! lonely Aholes who spend all day insulting people on the internet really hate these!
it's horrific! and a scam. and they are POS's, did I say that? avoid them, you'll be ripped off! ...like the internet tough guy says.
