Its almost a year since we learned that Tom Hardy was playing a significant role in FURY ROAD. In that time we've learned that he is the Max for the new series. I'm interested to know whether the non-believers have changed their tune given...

1. Hardy's cracking scene stealing presence/performance in INCEPTION.

2. Gibson's personal troubles and their impact upon his acting career.

I reckon this casting choice so ahead of the game, is perfect proof that we're going to get something that actually raises the bar and not heating up old porridge.
