I do have a mate thats moving near me and he is a kustom builder and i have shown him pics of both vehicles.

stay tuned will be more to come soon...
I'm go for the red snake truck! Since most of the body below the cab roof is good, seems you'd not need to do tons of work (minus the tow bed of course). I might go the other route is the body was toast, however. :D

I noticed the red F100 in the background of the front end shot. What's up with that one? Looks the right model, and with the missing bed you'd be off to a flying start! Then go Humungus on the white one! 8-)

The red one belongs to someone else and is not for sale, the guys has 4 f100s there but all the others are long wheel base. He has sunraysia wheels there and maybe doing a swap with the ones on it now, im just waiting for that to happen. HE said he will get it out onto his truck and drop it off soon. The body on it isnt to bad rust wise but i was there the other day and the doors dont close due to damage from the roof being pushed down, the pillar has moved out about half an inch on the driver side, not that the doors need to be opend on the cobra truck,

We are busy working out how to do the rear wheels of the humungus machine, we have been talking about moving the diff forward and having a lazy axle at the rear that will give some up and down movement to get it on to a trailer without the need to remove any rear wheels. Where the vehicle is is a bit of steel and his got heaps a 44gallon drums. We are very much leaning to doing the humungus car as the cobra truck is very easy to do and realy not much of a challange.

My buggy is back in the shed this weekend to get it drivable and ready for silverton next year, this should be done in a month or two, then it will be into the new project, so i have a bit of time to plan things.

Al, what you build it up to you but I'd build snake truck.
LTDHO = Supercharged Intercooled 5.7L 360rwkw, 6 speed

XB Coupe = Stock Fairmont GS with 351 and 4 speed.

But I really want a 600rwhp XB coupe!

Yeah, I'd say build the red F100 too. But that's just from looking at your base vehicle. With the crushed roof I would think it was perfect for the snake truck, but with the other problems you mentioned, I don't know. Also, no one else has a red F100 replica! But it's your build, and I wish you the best either way!
