Also as this scene takes place the sun dose come up realy quick.
I've found an image to show what i mean just scrole down and u can see it.

I think we're supposed to get the idea that it took the Humungus Machine about 30 minutes or so to catch up to the Interceptor. Notice that there aren't any other marauder vehicles anywhere to be seen, and there were a bunch that started off chasing Max. I suppose you could time how long it takes from when the Interceptor crashes to when the other bad guys catch up, and from that determine how far ahead Max and Wez were from everyone else. Also, the sun really seems to rise quickly in the desert.

No, that's the one shot with the prototype falcon that Ford built in the US with the Pontiac 455 engine. Notice how there are three screw heads on the left front bumper bracket instead of two.

Max yells to the kid "get the bullets" which bugged me at first since they are shotgun shells, not bullets and he should have known better, but I can reconcile this with the possibility that he was trying to use a term that the kid would more easily understand, rather than the correct term.

8. Max pulls his (supposedly empty) shotgun out for show with Wez, but at the first spotting of the gyro copter brings out a tire iron instead for real self-defense as he knows the gun is not loaded.
Max can thank god that his driving skills are better than his weapon handling skills, as those really suck.
Noticed when he threatens Gyro captain with the shotgun how he has trouble putting it back in the holster and then just points it to GC's face again?
Or in MM1 when he puts it to Johnny Boy's head - how he uses his thumb to "cock" the shotgun like it was a revolver, when all this would do is - break the shotgun open.
Or in MM1 again when he tries to grab the shotgun while his revolver is holstered under his armpit.

Probably spent all those years shooting empty cans in the wasteland until he became such badass "the one who keeps Mr.Death in his pocket" guy in Thunderdome. :D

mel did have trouble putting the shotgun back into the holster,with my costume I have the same problem. As for "cocking "the shotgun he was actually releasing the safety on the gun,to break it open he would have to move the breaking lever to the right not up or down as he did.

Beat me to it. I was gonna say the same thing. The holster is just a piece of rather thin leather, prob not more then 4-5oz, if that. It's difficult for thin leather to hold a shape, so it will 'collapse' like it did.

Most all internal lock shotguns have a safety on the tang right behind the lever and will automatically move to the 'SAFE' position when the action is opened. I actually thought him clicking the safety off was a nice touch. Kinda like racking the action on a pump shotty as an attention-getter.

Flipped negative (like they did in the opening chase). Note the reversed positions of the victims (Defiant is shorter and should be on the right).

The film is back to front!
LTDHO = Supercharged Intercooled 5.7L 360rwkw, 6 speed

XB Coupe = Stock Fairmont GS with 351 and 4 speed.

But I really want a 600rwhp XB coupe!
