1/24 1/25 modelling question

What would you use for C.B. antennas? Like for whips and fiberglass whips. Nothing I try seems to look right.
Thanks for any help guys.

Insulated copper wiring; the kind with a bunch of thin copper wires twisted into one cable. Cut away the insulation and take out a single strand. Paint it silver, drill a tiny hole for it, and crazy glue it in place. I did it for my Mack truck model here:

guitar string is popular, as is the old school method of stretching sprue (lots of practise needed. you heat the sprue left after you use all the parts. when it's soft you quickly pull it apart and it strings out into a long piece of thin styrene.
