I am looking forward to this, I hope Miller does it right. I have said for years madmax would make a good anime series, even movie (think cowboy bebop). This could give madmax a new/continued life, animation could give many new possibilitys story-s wise. could be very trick if done RIGHT. Could be a great way to reintroduce it to the younger crowd. if Miller is thinking of things like Appleseed ex, Vexille, Final Fantasy ac, or even Spirits Within... it could be a nice bit of eye candy, have to admit im a fan of the quirks/style of hand animation. I think of the ending of FF Advent Children with the bike... would love to see the return of the blown Interceptor like that... tons of ideas that could be great if done right. Mel could still do/voice this as he could be made anyway that would be suitable... he is to old otherwise.

bottom line... its all about... story story story

give us a good story Miller... give us the Interceptor back...

really hope it works out... make it right...

and... you better not put any F... tap dancing in it.

I would not particulary mind if they did a TV series the Anime way. That might in fact be the only way to do that, if they ever wanted to.

Would be a real shame to see the next feature done that way though. If there's another feature, I'd rather see it live action, and have it go out with a bang.

Live action would be wonderfull... is it realistic though to expect right now, needs LOTS of money to do right, lots of money spent on new live action deathrace movie (worked on it) and anyway still not very good. An anime could get very close to live ation, the mech designs in animation can get-be VERY good-impressive as the real thing. No reason to have MAX go out with a bang... he IS! a super hero (just as batman is)... could live on for Long time in animation.

Showed my teen kids live action Max... did not think was that great (hurt my feelings)... animated with Good Story and action could-might change there minds lol... I will keep fingers crossed for Millers dream... dont cheap out M.

Mad Max and Road Warrior were made for very little money!!!!
Death Race was good, but who says you have to spend a bagillion dollars. Mad Max is testament to low budget, done right. Every Aussie in the Film industry would fall over themselves to take part.
Again, I say Bana for it.
