Re: goose fairing search continues
KK,
The Blinkers were addition someone has done to this fairing, Probably as they were sick of knocking off the blinker type that hangs off the handlebars.........It doesnt look pleasing at all, but at least the fairing is an original and the holes for the blinkers can be easily repaired. This fairing isnt claimed to be one used in the movie, but it is a La Parisienne original.... similar to the movie ones that are highly sought after.
The image here of the signed fairing was done by Terry Gibson, who you know doubt are aware of rode the toecutter and Goose bikes in the chase scenes .Terry is the one on the goose bike with Dave Eggby roped on as pillion passenger in the image here on Peters site.
Cheers
Rossco

KK,
The fairings werent bought to profit from, they hopefully would be able to benefit others that havent been able to secure a fairing for their replica, as these fairings can be used to make a new mould. I have always intended to keep these for my own collection.
Cheers

Re: goose fairing search continues
i sure wish hope you plan on making molds from them. one, i belive they would be undamaged. two, you would get a new one you could put on a bike and enjoy for free i'm told, and three you would be a hero to all of us that would get to have one. you could just have them in your collection for people to enjoy when you present them, but you could could get so much more from owning them. think about it.

Rt Green: i think you can rest assured that Rossco is already in the process of seting up to have his fairings replicated. It is quite true that they will be undamaged, and also true that the offer is a new kit for use of a faring as a master. I think those fairings will be in Rossco's collection for his future generations to enjoy!
Kwaka Kid:
With all due respect, as you are one of the most helpful guys on this forum (especially when it comes to Bikes), I know you are being amusing, and truly wish Rossco all the best of luck, but Lets not disparage on folks who are trying to solve this problem for everyone. I have seen the pix of your (Very Beautiful) gosling1 replica. You could easily help everyone by taking up the MMC offer of a new kit in return for the temporary loan of your MK1 as a master yourself, right now, and everyone would have new fairings in a few weeks (instead of the ongoing discussion). You would also then have the 2nd you mentioned you would like in another thread at NO cost to you for the pleasure of helping everyone out (think of how you might feel if you spilled your sweet gosling1 and didn't have the backup?, vs. think of how thankful all of your fellow max heads will be if you do!). Unless you are going to step up and help, please be understanding with the folks who are scrambling to put together what you already have.
