is it true that george miller is making a 4th film or is it all wishful thinking?

MM4 was planed to start production about 2yrs ago. Filming was to take place in some far off African country.... but was cancelled for various reasons.

Recently after the launch of "Happy Feet" George did say he is keen to restart MM4, however it will be without Mel Gibson it seems.

Have not heard any recent stories as to when and where.....

I read on the Net that Miller will now do MM 4 like he said he would after Happy Feet. We don't need Gobson anyways- not after the cracks he said about Max in 1987 when he compared Max to Martin Riggs of Lethal Weapon. In my opinion, Riggs was real but not real enough- Max was more real and rough edged. max could kick Martin Riggs' ass. The fight between the two would be good but Max would take him and cripple him.

last i read miller was pushing the movie back for another new movie he wants to do. with all due respect miller eaither s#!t or get off the pot cause i tellign you he keeps saying he'll do it after he takes a vacation and does "just this one more film..." but there always seems to be jsut one mroe movie or two more movies before he will do mad max 4.....and i for one am getting sick of it maybe he knows it's just nto as good if mels not in it maybe he can't seem to make the story co-hearsive enough even with a new mad max maybe....maybe there is hope still but i am lossing my patience on this one with miller cause the more press releases i read the more he pushes it back.

so mr. miller which is it...will you s#!t or finaly get off the pot and let us get on with our lives having thunderdome being the open end of mad max??

MIller's apparently pretty heavily involved with a Justice League of America movie for WB. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc., etc. My thinking is MMIV's probably done for at this point. If you're not going to get Gibson involved, Miller'd be better off remaking the franchise with a new set of actors and concepts. The closest thing we have to 'Fury Road' are co-screenwriter and storyboard artist Brendan McCarthy's designs and storyboards which are apparently presented in a comic-book style but the chances of us ever seeing this are slim-to-none...

I keep hopeing that MM4 is already in production with gibson & their just keeping it under wraps for us fans..... Wishfull thinking I know. With the news of justice leage in production, (which wouldn't be a small production) would put MM4 pretty far off the radar.

I say if Miller and Gibson are out, then tell the story about the great northern tribe. Lets see the Feral kid at his current age, do you still act Emil, I've not seen anything on this side of the pond!

Not any more, well maybe for my kids playing around at home but it has been along time since my last gig...The last job I did was called Road To Alice with Noah Taylor, Angelo De Angelo and Hugo Weaving. I had a ball doing this, it was for the Film And Television School and a project for some upcoming students at North Ryde in Sydney.
Gees if I was to do MM4 as The Feral Kid they would have to make me look pretty old as when my character narrated MM2 I sounded old then.

But hey if the can make Eddie Murphy look like he does is some movies then I`m sure they could paint me to look old.

Thanks Medievil One...oh yeh every time I see your username I cant help but think of a line in Pulp Fiction "i`m about to get medi evil an your Ass" one of the classic parts of PF.
Have`nt seen it for ages but what a movie.
