there's a 71 mach one on ebay right now for 69,000 Image mint! Sub 20thou cars are usually in need of major restoration. most fastbacks are over priced. i've noticed that the only 'reasonable' prices for mustangs, are usually becasue they are HT (coupe) or convertables (not suited to southern half of australia).

Aussie, I saw a Silver Black 71 429 Super Cobra on Ebay in Melbourne, it was first $65,000, then now it's down to $62,500. It has been converted to RHD though, and was imported in the nineties apparently. This model only had 513 produced if it is the real deal.

Mudguts, get out of there. Candulini, put her against the post.

We have a problem, here........

Jeezus why do some Aussies wanna convert the steering thus ruining the value of the muscle car?How many idiots here in the USA wanna swap the steerimng on thier Aussie falcons?Thats like one of the coolest things about th cars is even the steerings in a differnt place. I mean its not like your gonna f**kin die if you drive on the left hand side of the car. My mailman drives a Jeep with RHD everyday delivering mail and he hasn't killed anyone yet.

Because it's dangerous when in heavy traffic when you're by yourself and trying to make an unprotected left-hand turn while leaning over the center console, being able to see just a hundred feet instead of seeing half a block or more, and also trying to pass/overtake slower traffic on a two-lane road/highway and running into the same issue. The cars are a lot lower than the mailman as well...can't see over the traffic. Those are the two major issues with a RHD car in a LHD country. Try driving one sometime and you'll find the pitfalls real quick.

Same thing English cars going to France and vice-versa.

Thats bullsh*t., AMC made a special mail carrier RHD Rebel that never had those probs also you can't sit their and tell me that carving up a no.s matching prestige muscle car so you can make a left lots easier is the reason why their hacked up like that. Thats like me saying I MUST bolt on mack truck bumpers on a Corvette becuase the fiberglass body isn't as safe as far as crashes versus a bigger car made of steel. Last i checked the people driing mail jeeps weren't smashed to sh*t on the roads becuase of their being RHD
