Nope not just the Monaco,the Fury was used quite a bit as well the Dodge Monaco and Fury were identical the 74-78's only the front grill and headlites were different.In the Georgia episodes Rosco drove a 1971 or 72 Dodge Polara and a 74 Plymouth Grand Fury i.e the Blues Bros style car.

I really dislike the Dukes Charger. It's a Charger. That's orange. With a push bar. And a confederate flag on the roof.

This car is as iconic here as the Interceptor is in Australia. Australians love the Interceptor. Americans love the clown car. And plaid 'cowboy' shirts from Sears. The kind with the pearlescent buttons....

I would love the dukes charger... If it was black, and a '68...

But would I pass the dukes car? Nope, I enjoyed the show, so I would enjoy the duke charger in my driveway. But I like a good deal of cars before that one, the absolute #1 being the BoB road warrior style interceptor.

What do you mean it isn't a clown car? It's bright orange, with some red and blue thrown in and you climb in thru the windows.

3 days after the auction end, what a pisser. Can't say I was that surprised though. Maybe one of the other $9.9+ Million bidders were serious.

The General Lee was my first 'dream car ' as a kid, I used to tape every show on Betmax video, and still have the first series of swap cards at home!

It would be a nice car to have, but at least for me I have placed plenty on my plate already. And for the price, I have to say I would rather buy a fleet of Lamborghini's, which are my other passion since first seeing "The Cannonball Run"
