Max Max 2 2007 release

Post by johnnyzeeboy »

Not sure if you have seen Mad Max 2 is being released worldwide on bluray and HD video next month. Extras almost identical to the US VHS SE of Roadwarrior but with cool commentaries. Wonder if Fury Road will get a mention!

see below

Cheers

John

The Road Warrior uses BD25 and HD30 discs and is presented in 1080P 2.40:1 Widescreen with English 5.1, French and Spanish 2.0 audio and English, French and Spanish subtitles. Exclusive to these HD releases is a new commentary by Director George Miller and Cinematographer Dean Semler, Behind-the-Scenes Documentary `Mad Max 2: The Chase Continues`, all-new introduction by Leonard Maltin

Original trailers of `The Road Warrior` and `Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome` an introduction by Leonard Maltin and the original trailer.

We discussed this already in another thread. and most of us aren't too thrilled as we were promised a spec ed. of Mad Max 2'The Road Warrior' with deleted scenes and a bunch of other cool sh*t like the Mad Max spec Ed.

Sorry Ed, didnt see it on another thread. I agree, sounds like a shoddy upscale from VHS to bluray. Cannae understand why WBs are stalling on a SE after releasing Mad Max in such a good edition.

Max Max 2 2007 release

WB didn't release the Mad Max SE, that was MGM.

Can anyone point me to the specs of this new SE, or where it was announced? It's good there's a commentary promised with George Miller and Dean Semler, however I would have also thought there should be more features than this on any new disc released.
