"INTERCEPTOR OVERLOAD"

Sorry, I'm a huge Hemi fan; besides, if Team Force can run TFX Hemi's in their Mustangs, why not a KB Hemi in an Interceptor? A blown alcohol Hemi would sound pretty sweet, especially if you had open headers!Image

To all Max cranks, collectors ,replica owners, builders drivers, model makers, costumers etc all are invited to this event. The bigger the better they say. This is a chance to put names to faces, compare stories, experiences whatever, you might even get a lap or two in one of the cars(passenger). Please check the Easternats website for details of event. The max cars will be there throughout the event located on Concourse 1, top end of pit lane exit to track.Happy 30 th birthday to the "INTERCEPTOR". And to Kevin or should i call you Hemi, the engine is a water cooled 512 KB stage 4, 8/71 blower, scott injetor with enderle barrel and pump, hoping for 1000 hp at wheels.Runs a highly modified Power Glide and Mark Wiliams rear end.To make it fit we went with a full RRS front end, struted to suit with electric power rack, 16x8 and 16x12custom sunraysia's and T/A's.Visually the body is the same.Hopefully will be driving in time for Easter. We have documented the build up for the History DVD and also full feature magazine layout.Pix are to follow soon. Regards Scott.

I can't wait to see the pics; it's almost like you have been reading my thoughts and stealing my ideas for an Interceptor! I may have to start wearing a tin foil hat to keep anyone else from reading my thoughts. What magazine is it going to be in?

Yep...bringing the 5mp camera with three extra batteries and 4 gig's of memory...hopefully fill them all. Maybe compress the files and e-mail them home to make more space on the cards at Wrinkle's place.

Aside from Emil Minty, is there going to be anyone else there Max-related? I heard the rumor Grant Page might be there...true?

WRINKLES: Will the GT be out so I can take pics?

Hey Bronze21....of course the GT will be out....how else do ya think we're see if it can hit 140 MPH ??!! I promised him I'd give it a good wash as it is only fair due to the fact I made him shovel snow when he was here last....plus he got to drive my van so i think a fair trade off would be to at least borrow his GT for a week or so (I'm sure he'll see it differently though).

As for Adie and nelson..... I'm sure they'll figure things out once they see me driving away ! Image
