Miller says Gibson is "in his fifties", he just turned 50 this year!

you got soccer players playing into their 40's and are fit as an ox. When it comes down to it you see alot of actors prepare themselves for movie roles especially if it requires alot of physical work on set. They will train for months before they begin filming. Mel Gibson to say that he is too old and unfit to do it is just a poor excuse he is just too lazy in my opinion thats what happens when your filthy rich.

It could work fine as a recast. The biggest problem is that when people hear 'Mad Max' they think of Gibson but really, it's all possible. Obviously Gibson doesn't want to do it and that's his prerogative but clearly Miller has enough faith in the story he wants to tell that he's willing to go without Mel and I'll take Miller over Mel when it comes to Mad Max anyday. If they're still going to use all Brendan McCarthy's production designs from when they nearly made the thing in Namibia then I'm in, pure and simple. As for the whole CGI thing, yeah I'm all for some good old-fashioned stuntwork as opposed to a glorified video game but take a look at the new Bond movie to see how there's still real stuntwork performed by real stuntmen that'll take your breath away...

Er, no

Look at Forum`s biggest ever posting (Ironbar vs Mighty Wez). This boat will never float...

For the last few years I've been thinking, we don't need Mel anymore.
Here's another name to put in the hat for playing Max
Ted King

He was in the Timecop series and he looks like a young Mel.
What do you think?

I can think of 6 good reasons to watch Charmed...
{and they bounce across the screen quite nicely.
Plot? Story?... You mean the show is about something?
