Kraft foods are intending to improve the taste of Vegemite to make it more palateble as a foodstuff.

they intend to increase the salt content so you can really taste it!

Ever tried that lovely little confectionary item called crunchy frog? Apparently they're made by the same company that makes Marmite. It's a chocolate covered Frog and it's crunchy cos they leave the bones in the frog.

Marmite and Vegemite may be marketed with different names but trust me, it's the same product i.e. scrapings from the slop bins and underside of the hotplate found in some greasy Turkish mobile kebab van. Discovered to be "edible" (I use that term loosely y'understand) quite by accident after chief cook and bottle washer Hamid slipped and fell face first into the slop bin whilst mid inhale.

After 4 months in intensive care he was released and declared no longer a threat to the community for his exposure and went on to market his new found product and today is a very rich man indeed. Needless to say "he doesn't get high on his own supply" Even a Turk has some standards.

You eat that sh*t for breakfast?!!! Now I know why you're the way you are OHC!

Yes i read the article in todays paper about the US Government banning vegemite..as it contains folate ???

Since when is healthy food... something you ban ????

I can see it now...... walking through US customs.....

Another more bizarre more... for some reason the US has delcared that Kiev.... (No not the chicken dish.... but the actual town)... it to be spelt differently from now on.....

Kyeve... or something like that......

Now far be it for me to ... say bad things about government policies..... but please will someone explain THAT one too ??????

Changing the spelling on anothers countries town.... just for US citizens... is.... strange to say the least....

Oh My God ! An Aussie (imported) product that contains Folate(we can't enforce medical taxes on it) Oh My God ! It also contains Vitamin B (we still can't tax it for extra money) quick ! Ban it's arse from our shores and make sure no one can access it's healthy vim !

Damn that evil Vegemite !!!!!!

Y'all done sucking each other off?Now I don't know my folate from my prostrate,but it seems you guys are soiling your selves over stupid sh*t like my country banning some nasty ass sh*t called vegimite.I tell ya what,ban someting of ours like Ovalteen which tastes like utter complete sh*t as well. and we can call it even,meantime lets not turn this thread into a 'Fatwa' over my country!
