"Catch A Fire" Falcon Sighting

Post by Mitch »

I just saw a commercial for an upcoming movie called "Catch A Fire". Looks to be set in South Africa during the apartheit years and seems to be 'based on a true story' of a man who is pushed too far. His family is tortured and he stirs up a rebellion maybe?

Anyway, I'm sure I saw some XB/XC Falcon sedan cop cars go flying by and in the background of some of the scenes. Anybody else see this?

I just watched the trailer on IMDB and they looked good to me.

speaking of which the movie reminds me a little of Stephen Biko who helped to stop apartheid.

yeah, I was also reminded of the Biko story. Denzel Washington did a fairly decent job of playing Biko. Back around 88, I think.

I caught the trailer again and it looks like the cars are Holdens or Chevys, not Fords. Same era and look, but from the quick glimpse I got, the cars seemed different than my sedan.

False alarm maybe, but still worth a look.
