The Road Warrior on History Channel

Greetings. I was flipping through the channels yesterday (Sunday) around noon and was surprised to see The Road Warrior showing on the "Hitler" Channel. Anyone know why they would be playing that particular sci-fi movie on a history-related channel (not that I'm complaining)?

Everything else during the day was about pirates due to Cap'n Jack Sparrow gracing the screen again..."Now that's interesting...eh, love?"

Tonite on the ABC..on a Documentary called "The Future of OIL"...the closing scene was the Tanker crash between Mungy and Max....wow..I mean Ohh No!

LMAO you see it too eh.every f**kin show on The History Channel is about WW2 and how Hitler went wrong.I swear the f**kers that run that show are Neo SS members LOL

Well there ARE some SS Death's Head artifacts in amongst Humungy's group...so I guess the movie could count as a "Hitler" tribute/show...lol.

I dont know about the History Channel being all hitler, but I know the NAtional Geographic channel has had nothing but "Secret Voice of Hitler" and "Hitler in Color!" I mean its on all the time next its going to be "Hitler....ON ICE!"

History channel back in the day used to show nothing but Hitler documents. The last Hitler thing was actually on last week or so. I think they limit it to bi monthly or something now.

I have seen both MAD MAX and THE ROAD WARRIOR on the History channel. The premise they use for showing them is to show the "historic" perspective of how we viewed our own future, or something like that.
