I appreciate all folk have the right to opinions, however to base your opinion on what you see in a photograph as against seeking out the truth by looking at the vehicle in person.
To then make statements without any proof in relation to what a person has openly said they have obtained is out right rude.
I rest my case.

I'm so tempted to join in on this one, but I think it's safer to watch from a distance! (well, I guess I'm in on it now!)
...I'd just like to make a little request.... if you're going to argue backwards & forwards about who's right and who's wring, fine - but there's absolutely no need to make it personal. I personally like "the turd". ...and if he was a cop - at whatever level - has nothing to do with the post. Grow up.

It just wouldn't be right if i didn't put in my 2 cents..... here's what I get from this thread:
Nelson has made the observation that a car with a blower thru the bonnet, blue dash light, wider than normal tyres, would not pass a regular inspection. From what I've learned over the last 6 years, this is true and he's going by what he sees in the photos of Markes coupe. If Mark was somehow able to get the certificate "as seen in the photos" then he's got some pull somewhere, OR, perhaps the coupe was inspected with the 'parts in question' removed. I didn't think for one minute that Nelson was implying anything bad towards Marke. I had my coupe certified 2 weeks before it hit Canadian soil so does that make me a 'bad' person? Nope, just means I had 'other' means to get things done and avoid any hassles. In my opinion if you have a way to beat the system or get around it then why the hell not??!!??.
B.O.B. cat: I think it would be decent of you to delete your post. Any further name calling by anyone will result in every message in this post being deleted except the first one and we can start over again.... and Bart, you said it well.

This is one reason I'm glad I live where I Do.
With the possible exception of the Blower, there's not a thing on that car that would prevent it from being someone's licenced daily Driver here.

Well the add on ebay has had good exposure thanks to this forum .and some nice comments on here, I see as well , good to too hear (read) other peoples views and opinions .
Further to my telephone conversation with Nelson, I have removed the comment I wrote in regard to other owners of NSW replicas . As explained to Nelson the remarks was not aimed at Nelson and Scott as there are a lot more unfinished and finished replica's in NSW .
And I have re worded my add , and Bart Iam selling the old girl because I have found a way to legally register a 1966 batmobile replica. Something I have wanted for a long time, There wont be too many of them on the NSW roads, hopefully I will have the only one.
Cheers

Good luck with the sale Marke.
Are you going with the the 390 engine for the batmobile. At least there are heaps of build photos from the original on the net which would make life easier than doing a BoB.

With Attitudes and opinions seen on here by certain narrow minded folk who dont take an honest and reputable car builders word on what they have acheived in making their replica Street Legal , i dont blame Kempy for leaving the mad max fraternity and heading to Batman appreciation mode.

Mark, the rear end on your B.O.B,is it narrowed?how come your rear tires are tucked under versus them sticking out slightly on the real car?
