Sad to hear your news, Bart. I lost my dad when I was eleven- never got to really know him as a person or friend, what his politics and opinions were, etc.

Bart, im saddend to here about your dad and cant for the life of me work out why this happens to the great people of this world , when theres so many bastards who deserve it walkin around. All the best to you and your family , from scummy.

Thannks everyone.we had a nice weekend with my dads brother and family and i'll be going to Alabama to see the rest of my dads family so I'm really enjoying some quality time with my dad and family while hes still able bodied.

My dad survived melanoma skin cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, a heart attack, a stroke, bowel cancer and had his bowel removed then bladder cancer. We were told Friday that there is nothing more they can do for him. Although he is walking around today its only a matter of months. Truth is after years of Chemo and operations he has had enough.

My dad was the one who took me to see MM2 at the cinemas and then paid $99 in the early 80's so I could watch MM1on video, I still have that original copy. I thank him for the passion I have for the movies and taking him for a drive in my replica was a special day. I will miss him.

Man I am so sorry to hear that. I lost mine to a heart attack when I was seven. You and your family or in my prayers.

Sorry to hear that..your lucky to be close to your dad..my father finally ran away with a woman back in 1977 after a marriage of constant cheating on my mum..gave us $6. for maintenance and after failed marriages and 24 years later ended living in a caravan in my driveway..for 3 years until the day he died he promised a $200,000 ins policy..declaring it till the last minute almost..it didnt exsist..its not the money so much but the lies and what he owes us for a life of crap..i wanted to reverse my car over his grave but the gates are locked.....make every minute count for you guys that are close to your parents..

I feel for ya matey. Lost my dad at age 56 to a heart attack 8yrs ago. Lost my sister age 27 to suicide 2yrs ago. (her 7yr old daughter came home from school & found her). Lost both my dad's parents a week apart age 92 & 89 last year. Got tears in my eyes just typing this. Believe me, I know the pain. My thoughts are with you & your family.
