If all your heard was "Arena", maybe it is you who is obsessed. It is only one of ten scripts I have written, with so many more in planning stages. Including a long-abandoned trilogy, to complete the "Star Wars" series. That was before the prequels or special editions, and the George Lucas I knew is more machine now than man, his writing as mechanical. All I remember of the prequels, other than being bad on every level, is a blur of technology. So one George, two to go. Of course, you all know about me and Romero. Two down, one to go. Miller time. I invested more into him, than the other two put together. And, I want what I put into "Arena" back, one way or another. Even if I have to meet him here in this arena. I at the very least want him to know he has failed me, and not the other way around. You all go on about the cars but that was never what "Mad Max" meant to me. It was humanity, so maybe that is why I am having a hard time, letting go. I want Miller to be human, that is all.
