9 hours of Mad Max 4
Hi Folks,
Last year we build a small interceptor and drove it to Banjul in Africa (through Paris and past Dakar) in the Amsterdam Dakar Challenge race. Of course the interceptor was there first. I made 9 hours of road movie and took some pictures. But i need some info about the original mad max movie as background information for on the DVD and in the book. I was wondering what has happened to the original interceptor. Not the black one, but the colorfull one. The Ford Falcon XB.
Greetings,
Martijn.
I don't know - I just arrived here meself

No-one knows for sure where Max's original XB ended up.

Michael Renny is claiming ownership of Max's Yellow XBGT Interceptor...but that's disputed though, and if it IS the original, it was up on E-bay last month for somewhere around the $45k (AU) mark.

He mend wat happend with the car in the story after Max took the BoB.
I Think Max drove the interceptor to the police station like befor. He did use the car to go home also. In the movie he said goodby to Jessie, and went to work in the interceptor. So he probably just left the intercepter at the police station and tooke the BoB. So the car was most likly used by an other cop from that time.

"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

The Yellow Interceptor was sold off after the first movie was made. There was a rumour getting around that it was crushed at a local car wreckers.
