Yeah I'd have to agree with you there, Karol. As amusing as the pics are, we oughta wait until the whole mess is sorted out. I'll refrain from posting what little I have (mostly just shots of the Interceptor; I didn't even get a shot of you in that bad ass buggy monkey suit!), and Sean's camcorder was confiscated for evidence.

Sorry again this is the last thread I will add it to, but please "spread the words that lay within the following:

I agree with Karol and the others about posting pictures and videos at this time. Please do refrain from posting until we get clearance from our lawyers. (You will all get a chance to see them as soon as we can put them out).

However if you were near or part of the event, witnessed and or photographed or video taped anything, please send any and all information to [email protected]. We can possibly use your statements, pictures and videos for our defense.

I would also like to thank Randy, Mitch, Evan and Jake and the others for the information they have put out thus far. Please continue to post any information you feel appropriate and enlightening to the rest of the fans here. Items not related to the run itself or it's participants are fine and I'm sure we are all dyeing to see and hear of the great time we all had with Vernon, the fans, the vehicles and the "normal" people of San Antonio. I trust the Judgment of those noted above and appreciate your help as time and concern may keep a few of us from being able to post what and as often as we like....

And BBB, I know how you enjoy being the "thread Killer", a hard @$$, and ankles nemesis, and I do enjoy your post and candor. However please in this case please allow us some time and respect the litigation we are now under.

I would appreciate us all treating each other and these topics with respect. This is our time to show ourselves as quality fans and persons, and not your typical forum fare. Other are watching "believe me, I have been so informed" while most are a "HUGE" benefit to us as fans, some are not and if we act as the media has portrayed us, we will only harm what good is bound to come of this "trust me, good is watching, good is coming, and we don't want to piss good off" I say this in relation to the site and us as fans not solely to the events in San Antonio. You have all at one time questioned our visibility and effect on those that control what we appreciate....."Well baby we've got visibility now!" [/font]

Just a quick note to say that I support you guys 100%.

The "crime" you have committed is to be different, you would think that as long at your actions did not hurt, endanger or cause harm then indeed you were only enjoying life in a free country.

From Australia I have always been very impressed with your countries "Land of the free" lifestyle and culture. To see you arrested for this bit fo harmless fun ... well it forever adjusts my perception of the USA, and this is personally very disappointing for me.

Upon the battlefields of history American men and women have died for this right to personal freedom.

On the international stage this Police action appears to have violated the word "freedom". Today more than ever "freedom" is the most precious of all words ... to both us in Australia and to you the citizens of the USA.

Best regards

And good luck

Gordon.

Eeeasy Gordon,we don't know the whole story as one bad apple coulda spoiled the bunch i.e someone made a mountain out of a mole hill and thats one reason why the 12 arrested were'arrested.right now i think the cops are only going by hearsay and i'm sure when thier done lookin at photos or vids of what the fans took they'll be cleared.ooor some fan mouthed off to one of the cops and decided to single out every fan they had in custody what i'm saying is i don't want this to end up being a i hate cops and America thread as my brother is a Deputy Sherriff.

It was just discussed on the show Celebrity Justice.

The teasers had footage of someone being arrested, the cars in a parking lot, and footage of the tanker/Humungus crash. The also called it Mad Max 2, not Road Warrior.

Rebecca Cook interviewed.

Post-Johnny drive-off shown. Bikers going over bridge shown.

MMBT footage shown.

Humungus hitting tanker from behind footage shown.

Lady from Alamo Draft House talks about ticket holders getting refunds

Arrow gun and machettes shown being put in cop car trunk.

Vern interviewed.

Footage shown of guy with belly wearing black t-shirt and blue jeans in cuffs, and guy with dreadlocks in cuffs

CJ seems to have gotten the story right for the most part

Publicist for Mel tells CJ MM4 no-go.

Chewie, thanks for the Solidarity...see folks, we can get along! I'm a Star Warrior myself, but only the original 3...and I hate the Ewoks.

I really feel for the guys who were arrested. When I was in Jr High back in the 80's I dressed up as a member of Toecutter's gang for halloween. I went trick or treating and came home and was watching Mad Max when the doorbell rang. It was the bronze. They read me my rights and started questioning me in my parents kitchen. Apparently a kid from down the road was claiming that I beat him up and took his candy! It was total crap! It supposedly happened after I had already been home for about an hour. After questioning me they went to the kids house and confronted him with this fact and he suddenly changed his mind and said it must have been another guy. Luckily I was able to avoid jail but I know how it feels to be singled out just for being a avid fan of a great movie.
The rich get rich and the cops get paid to look away as the one percent rules America!
