AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHH!

Can't think of a better word to describe it.

Thanks for the direct link it helped a lot... Can you conjure up one for the online therapy I feel I now need?

I don't know whether I like that car or think it's most hideous things I've ever seen. If you're familer with the phrase "Rat Bikes" Well then this sort of thing normally strikes a chord with me but this one.... Image

Have you noticed the huge oil puddle staining the tarmac underneath it? Perhaps that sump pan bolted to the bonnet is the one from the actual engine... that would explain the puddle.

Possible sales blurb; "This car comes with a unique air cooled lube system: splashes onto road THEN back up into the engine. i.e. an open circuit lubrication system." More plausable than it being and extra in the films. Or did I blink when it came on the screen? Hmmm maybe it got edited out? naaaaaaaaaaaa.

I agree BBB most of the cars on the roads here in Europe are very sedate and unimaginative. They're small and designed after a Jelly mold. Muscle cars they ain't and that's a sad fact. Image

A car like that would certainly turn some heads on the roads over here. The Gendarmes would have a field day examining that monster for compliance to current French road laws Image

I saw a big combined harvester the other day, had big tyres and 'kin huuuuge engine! Could that count as a muscle car? Image

Thank f**k I ride a bike.

Kwaka kid. No idea I live about 300kms west of Paris. When I did go there what I saw made me shudder. I thought the way despatch riders ride their bikes in London were 4 cans short of a 6 pack. the French make them into Sunday driving grannies!

At least in London there are certain safe zones that you know a despatch rider won't go such as pavements underpasses pedestrian precincts etc. Unlike Paris! It's advisable to look both ways when stepping out of the toilets.... Inisde a cafe INSIDE a mall, else you could end up over a set of handlebars. Neeeeeyyyooowwwwwwwwnnn!

While sitting at a table on a pavement cafe "taking tea" this 500cc bike rode past us as if he owned the pavement. People just moved their feet out of the way as he weaved in an out of the pedestrian traffic. he stopped outside a shop 4 doors down parked sideways across the path got off delivered and rode off again.

I'd have been crucified for trying something like that in the UK even in Canterbury my home town.

Sorry couldn't download it 35MBS!!! are you kidding me? It'll take till christmas to download that on my dail up connection.

As for it being nuts over here. Well put it this way: Zebra Crossings are put up in Paris as a means of population control. Image In London, or anywhere in England you are required, by law to stop if you see someone on the Zebra crossing.

It's the same with the highway code In the UK you have to abide by the rules of the road. In France, particulalry Paris, weeeeeellll it's just loose guideline, a suggestion really, think of it as advisory. You have been warned... Doesn't stop me wanting to have a go in circus though Laughing like a maniac now. Image

Unlike the UK the cops here carry guns. Potential John Waynes every last one of them. Something I still have yet to gets used to. Image
