I think we're geeks due to our level of interest and information in everything to do with Mad Max. I think someone said that before, but this post is turning into a monstrosity and I'm not going back to find it!

In our world, when so many get away with so much, seeing bad people get what they deserve feels good. Maybe on a subconscious level this includes people who've tormented me in the past, you could be right.

Y'know, it's the same thing with the guys who are nuts about superheroes and wizards and such. Everyone is looking for the solution to their own weakness and feelings of vulnerability. The answer varies depending on your opinion/perspective on yourself.

For most here, there is already a strong sense of identity, but for me, and I would presume for others as well, there is a certain amount of dismay at the unecessary complexity of our world. Too many greys, not enough black and white, right and wrong. Far too many people that are quite happy to 'flow like water' and go along with dubious or questionable behavior and rationalize why it's ok to do so.

I agree. I have often been labeled as too black and white on specific issues.

Clarity determines that gray is the opposition to understanding. Gray is the certain fabric that allows the trepid to exist with the dominant elements of society. Without these shadows the light of truth exposes the weakness inherent in their action.

Max is about clarity of action. When he surprises the raping mohawker...there is no internal turmoil, no debate, no profused excuse of "the mohawker had some bad experiences, give him a break". Max has no such weakness. Judgement is accurate and swift................. As it should be.

Biker... that wouldn't be "Great Googley moogley" as uttered by Abelard Snazz in Alan Moore's 2000AD strip would it?

Actually I pinched it from Frank Cho's Liberty Meadows comic strips found them on line and think they're sooo funny. Maybe originally from 2000AD though I dunno, Cho makes a lot of cross reference inside jokes.

Please note the lack of response from Rockatansky for my thrown down gauntlet challenge. Must be all of 10 minutes since i posted it

There, there Kylie nasty man has gone 'way now. You have very very nice tits he's just short-sighted is all.

"Great Googley moogley" is what Aunt Bunny said as she drove off in the Goonie Goo Goo Mobile with Eddie and the dog after falling down the steps.

Quick some body get Aunt Bunny something cool for her head!.
