HUh, what exactly do you mean? Are you intending on building an interceptor styled Mercedes 190e?

Worded a trifle confusingly, that's all.

"how an interceptor works"

1. An Interceptor is an upgraded version of the standard MFP Patrol car or Pursuit Car. How it works is simple the Pursuit cars chase an offender's car and if they can't stop him, the Interceptor Runs up Meets the threat and ends the chase.

2. the Title of the officer who drives the above mentioned car.

"with an interceptor"

For some time, a friend of mine assumed that the bomb the Mechanic took off of the Car was the "Interceptor". Image

Now if that were the case, I don't think anyone would want one. Image

Some Car companies use "Interceptor" as a designation on certain engines, Such as the "383 Police Interceptor" that resides between the fenders of my Dad's Dodge Charger.

This merely indicates the engine produces a bit more power than the standard version and is the same motor found in a Police Optioned car. In the case of the 383 in the Charger, I believe it's all of ten horsepower over the standard 383 4 barrell.

Some here get a bit stroppy when you talk of building an Interceptor Replica from anything but the Falcon Coupe (I seem to recall one being dissagreeable about using an XA instead of the proper XB) So Myself, I would word it more as an Interceptor Inspired performance car.

Just a suggestion mind you. Image
