What does Mad Max mean to you?

sh*t, BERSERK, i did exactly the same with my MATCHBOX, and HOTWHEELS. i made an entire compound, with LEGO tires, and sh*t, i used to keep every wrecked car, so i could use it in my TANKER CHASE, and put them along side my highways (the lines on mums lounge carpet), so they looked like VERMIN marauded cars...

I had to take a break from Mad Max/Bubba Zanetti and I succeeded for about 2 weeks. I'm planning a major overhaul of my Bubba Zanetti website because he deserves it.

I had a compound as well - and I set up ramps and made the crazies try to jump over the walls - (just like the bike attempt you see early on) - if the car ended up on its wheels in the compound then it meant it survived and could try to open the gate. . .

And that's another absolute beauty of the MM movies - they are just as appealing to kids as they are to adults. They are of course very violent and only relly meant for adults, but it captured the hearts of all ages. Hell, and I'm not generally even a car fan - I don't even drive!! But after I watch Mad Max 1 or 2, I always wish I had a Late 70s model modifed Falcon or something parked out the front. So this is yet another demonstrated power of the movies - it can still make even a non-petrolhead like myself want to be one!!

I have this bucket of these trashed toy trucks and cars i glued guns and stuff one is a Mack'cab over'with a custom trailer more like the scrap one that the Mack was towing before the tanker since...i dind't have a tanker but i glued the back of a truck on with guns and i have this oooold 71 Javelin AMX matchbox SPeed Kings car that i pianted black as Max's Bob'hey it even has a blower'.I also made lego cas with a rig and always acted out the MM2/TRW scene wit them.i now destroy my daily drivers making them look like maurauder vehicles i.e saw off the exhaust spray bomb em flat black LOL you always can hear and see me coming a mile away.

I think i even wiped my brow once, after taking a spoonful, though it was winter and i was indoors (huh, maybe it was the wind comin' BART) - I keep a close eye on my kids now, when they eat beans - lil' wimps have it heated up in a bowl, with toast though

I always liked your ZANETTI, site BUBBA, that and the MIGHTY WEZ (what happened to that member), were both cool.

The image that comes to me when I hear MM is always the CAR, the beautiful Pursuit Special with the blower starting to whine and catapulting that black tool of revenge forward, in a manner no other could follow.

I owned a Ford turbo some time ago, and I bought it just for the pleasure of hearing the blower when accelerating. Now I own a BMW M3 E30, and it is of course black!

Max is cool, but the car....the car has such a strong personality that it should be displayed in the credits, just side by side to Gibson, man!!!

Yeah, thats funny, you bring up MAD MAX infront of anyone, in particular Mechanics, and thats the first thing they'll mention to me "That COUPE", they always refer to it as that, instant Respect!

and the damn things like the CENOBITES in HELLRAISER, it gets less than 5 minutes screentime, yet its the main thing ya remember.
