Thanks Bronze I will look into the Freuhauf
I love scratchbuilding with styrene so I will probably end up fabricating alot of it.
I have found soaking tissue in white glue and water makes convincing canvas when painted but a Tshirt might work better.

Na, i think its meant to be paint, its kind of yellow in the movie, pretty dark though.
you gonna make a Cattle trailer, like in the movie, to go with the Truck, or go straight wit the Tanker (though you'd probably have to do up the truck to go with the Tanker)
I personally would go with the Cattle Trailer, its way more original.

Greetings. Along my virtual travels of the digital wastelands, I finded another kit that you might be interested in. It's a 1:25 flatbed trailer. It's a 40ft(?) Great Dane brand trailer made by AMT. It's an older kit, and going for around $35.00. I don't know what your budget is for the project...so I'm wondering if it'd be cheaper to get two of the Freuhauf box trailers and the styrene for less than just two of the flatbeds...assuming there aren't wheel-axle-tire combo differences between the kits. I think all of the kits during that time either had the "Dayton" 5-6 spoke wheels, or had the chrome plated "10-holer" aluminum discs. The tanker and box both have the 5-spoke Daytons. You might want to try hobbyheaven.com from time to time to see if they have anything...Cheers.
PS: I remember a time when I saw a Michigan "Centipede" dump trailer that had either 8 or 10 axles under the back. I remember it being something over the $50.00 mark...possibly $70.00. You'd be set for life for axles-tires though...lol. I think it was by AMT as well.

I am going with the cattle trailer. I will studdie it closer but it seems to me the trailer is basicly a three axle flatbed with sections of metal framing staked all around the side. I cant tell If there is a special gate on the rear to let the cattle on and off.

Yeah "The Vermin Have Inherited The Earth" was a medium yellow color spraypaint. Hope to see the trailer projects soon.

i don't think it was a spray paint, DEATHS. i know it sound funny that someone would be out there with a can of paint and a brush, but check out the angle of the ends of those letters, its the corner of a big brush.

I guess it depends on what version you watch.
you watch the Video - its orange, you watch a DVD - its yellow.

That's much better. You did a good job with the perspective and all that kind of stuff on the upper right pic, which makes it look less like a model and more like the real thing.
