How about if everytime you drive your dad's Olds wagon you say "That wagon...was it here?"

What if your wife can even quote all the lines as she rolls her eyes in disgust? Does this qualify as Mad Max rabidity? Can I get a shot for it?

When you realise that you never will stop your bike before it will hit the truck and you have a smile on your face and you feel that you will die like the Toecutter ...
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

FOX, and NOSCI, are ya sure? I mean i know he puts it into reverse AFTER he's stopped and backs up to the truck before getting out, but as for using reverse as a means to stop, I was goddamn convinced he did for years, Just by looking at the wheels spin backwards, and dirt go infront instead of behind.

But then i stupidly tried it, just to prove a point (plus mates said it could be done), and all i got was a very loud grinding noise, and a bad burnt oil smell.

I think ANKLE even bet a guy once that it couldn't be done either, and he WON the bet.

Rock,it actually CAN be done, somewhat safely,as I have done it,but you need a very slick surface such as mud or ice.I was going down into my backyard with my Bronco in the rain,on slick clay/mud and when I hit the brakes, did NOT stop.I was heading for the berry bushes with no way to stop,so I put it in reverse and gunned the gas.It worked and I stopped before the crash, but only because the rear tires were already stopped by me being hard on the brakes.

In RW,the dirt being sprayed forward is because of the massive wheel hop as he slammed the brakes.Every time the wheel would jump up and then touch the pavement/ground it would push the dirt forward.stationary object hits ground shoving dirt forward, and all that.Cheers,Bill

Greetings. Just to stir it up some more...I have to watch it again, but didn't he pull the parking brake handle instead of putting it in reverse? They're in the same area.

5.7INTERCEPTOR: Gee golly willikers, could that be Lundy's Lane, eh? Eh 'ate?

17. You actually live out the MM2/RW scene where Max hits the car in front of him with your own Interceptor, trying to total the other guy...yes, there's a story behind this post...

18. You even have co-workers knowing what type of cars they used.

19. You have co-workers coming up to tell you they watched them for the first time on TV, or that they were on TNT or UPN over the weekend.

20. You reference petroleum distillates as "The precious juice" or "Guzzoline" (thanks 5.7 for pointing that one out, eh?).

21. Before buying a new car, you buy a diecast version and see what it looks like with the BoB or a yellow Interceptor variation scheme...did it with a Mustang GT and even my PT. (thanks MFP01 for reminding me of that one).

22. Co-workers are starting to quote movie line because you've used them so much.

5.7INTERCEPTOR: Yes Christine died...the red Pontiac...it now has Park, Reverse and 5 neutrals...backed her up .6 miles to the house, all in reverse. I bought a black PT and thought about getting MITYWEZ or DINKYDI for the plate, running QUIXOTE for now.

Sorry to hear about Christine JayImage I'm sure the PT will give you mountan of new things to try though. The PT would definately suit the BoB paint scheme...and find a spare bonnet and we'll toss my blower set up on it for a weekend.

Yep...Lundys Lane, and if memory serves correct it was you that took that pic.
