Hey CrazyAJ,

I gather from The Dome's post that Festivus is a Seinfeld reference. I was never a big watcher of that show but Happy Festivus to you anyway.

CHRISTMAS MESSAGES

Hey, BART. Thats what i mean mate. My parents made a big deal out of it, cause they knew how 'Revenge Hungry' you yanks are. I think they were all like - "well thats it then, off to WAR now" Image

Thats cool, CRATE. About VACATION. We play it every Christmas Eve. at mums joint. I don't have a very big family, so we can fit them all into the lounge.

It's just me, my missus, my 3 kids. Mum, my sis, and her boyfriend... But my partner on the other hand, has family as far as the eye can see, Every f**kin relative she ever had comes over to her mums house, its f**kin HELL. And cause she Grew up on a farm. All the uncles and aunts are all Farm cockys, who spend the day fixin' fences and Complaining about the lack of 'rainfall' this time of year.

Which reminds me - whats everyones routine - on Christmas?

I know you yanks - do most of it CRISTMAS EVE. don't ya? And don't you Pom's open your presents on EVE, or some thing?

We do it all on the day. With my family - Me and my little family, (Us and the kids) Get up early have breakfast and opebn all our presents at our house. Then its off to my mums, by about 11.00 And its more presents, and Christmas Dinner, by about 1.00. Thenh we relax till about 3.00 and prepair ourselves, then its up to HER family, NOISE, a new Relative i still haven't met yet, and its more presents, and usually a Christams tea, usually cold meats and salads and sh*t. Back home that night, by 9.00 if we're lucky. Course the kids are all keyed up with new presents and sh*t, so its sleep by 1.00 if we're lucky.

http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001Most of my extended famliy gets together on Christmas Eve.

I've learned one thing, dont ask old people how they fell unless I have three hours to kill for them to unload their bowel movement stories. One tradition is really cool. The local Television stations start announcing Santa's impending visit by showing his location on the RADAR. This sends the young kids scurrying like angry ants to get in bed and fall asleep so he wont pass over the house and not stop. This has been tradition from most of my life.

I remember seeing the radar as a kid and actually stayed wide awake all night hoping to hear Santa make a delivery.

I love Chrissy time. Mainly it's having a beer with my family and friends. That's what it's all about, really: the people.
