Mad Max 4

Hi! im new in this forum and also a big fan of the mad max movies, so after finding this site i was very happy to also find a forum dedicated to mad max. So what's happening to Mad Max 4 is it going to be made or not???

Jim Gianopulos, Chairman at Fox Studios, gave the project $104 millions and a green light to go back in the Spring. The war in Iraq has postponed filming. Other scheduled projects and commitments have detained Mel Gibson and George Miller, the director.

As we undertand it, Miller is now signed on to direct "Happy Feet". What ever that is. Perhaps its a film about Max devotees on opening day of MM4.

That's sad, i was hoping for a 2004 release guess that's impossible......

Yeah, the whole thing kinda sucks. I was looking forward to summer 2004 big time and now we may not get Fury Road until 2005 if at all.

Mel is staring in a movie version of the uk tv series The Laughing Police man, I havent a clue who his character is but hes balding and has glasses.

Don't you mean The Singing Detective? If so, he's playing Dr. Gibbon. I don't know, but maybe it's called something different over in the UK. I just know he has a bald cap and glasses in that movie.

THE SINGING DETECTIVE ? damn i remember that show, it had MICHAEL GAMBON in it, and was f**kin whacked out, man.
