BRONZE - you forgot f**kin kickarse Model builder - That RED XA, still intimidates me, and makes me think twice about completing mine, and i'm using a PLANET X INTERCEPTOR MODEL as a base, so i can't go wrong.

Anyone remember that awesome thread MAD DAN started that had our AGE's and OCUPATION's in it? that was cool.

I work at AREA 52 SCI AND FANTASY - MODEL, TOY AND COMIC SHOP here in HOBART. We have the net running all day behind the counter (thats how i reached ONE THOUSAND AND WHATEVER THE HELL IT IS posts) and a DVD PLAYER running movie's overhead all day (you wouldn't believe how many mates i've made down here after running MAD MAX 2 twice a week - course you gotta fight those f**kin geeky STAR WAR/TREK fans though for the player, so i usually ask the customers for a vote, and THE ROAD WARRIOR wins everytime.

I f**kin love my job, i get first news on any cool figures or models being built, and i get to order enough for the store and my own private collection

pays not much though 900 a fortnite (believe me when you have 3 kids and a model habit, it don't go far) My Partner works in the UNIVERSITY practically next door, so i'm a happy man.

Unfortunately my job is Contract, i've managed to keep it for two years now, but this year is looking bleak, so i may be off the forum in OCTOBER, might have to see about getting NET in my home.

Professionally unemployed. sometime in the future I'll either get my CDL, or I have a possible lead on a Granite slab countertop fabrication job with a buddy back in Denver.....

What about PAST JOBS, fella's ?

My first job was MOBIL PETROL STATION, from 12 at night till 6 in the morning, that was a tough one, the shady character you meet working over night in the baddest suberb in HOBART - BRIDGEWATER. will give you nightmares (thats how i got my first gun, working there).

Then i had a brief job at a Call centre, selling Internet over the phone all day, but the pay was obscene.

Then an awesome job, with FORESTRY, climbing huge arse trees, with a chainsaw dangling from your waist belt, lopping off branches and tree felling.

Well I'm a teacher of Texas History to 7th graders...although at the moment I'm teaching summer school 8th grade American History to juvenile delinquents.Most of my summer school kids literally have ankle bracelets on...loads of fun!

StepChild, I'd sit 'em down and show them the Aussie English Version of MAD MAX and then make them do a report on it. I believe the old school ( no pun intended ) non-CG effects havin' movies are lost on most juveniles today. After all 1979 was a year in American History. But seriously. I think kids should watch Oliver Stone's " JFK " before they are taught that Lee Harvey Oswald did it. His ( oliver's ) story just makes too much sense. well I work in accounting with a bunch of sexually frustrated men! the pay is great! and nobody else wants to do this mind-numbing sh*te so I can find a job anywhere!
