Yes Rock, you're right. The time was too short for the gang to reach the forest before her!Image

I have perused my copy of the Mad Max novel, and it seems that as in the film, Toecutter just plucks Jessie's name from the air. There appears to be no reference as to how he found out her name...

There are quite a few things in the book that are different ot the film, such as the initial pursuit of the Nightrider, and Jim Goose's death, to name but two.

yeah, its a bloody good book, but i didn't like the way they described MAX's uniform, it sounds more like a Mardi Gras gay costume, with the peaked leather cap and sh*t. Plus i don't like how he pretty much hunts TOECUTTER's gang 'officially' - he actually signs in at the beginning of the day.

And after all the motorcycle gang has no name! Why not the Nightriders? Hahaha, it sounds like a bad band from the 60'Image

Out of interest with this and the other two novels, which came first, the film/orignal script based upon the novel or the novel based upon the film/original script?

Script and film came first, then the Novel, based mainly on the script, but the authors thrown in some bits and pieces from the movies, just cause they were cool.

That's probably the best idea yet. Good thinking. It probably said "Jessie and Sprog '98 or '99," something like that.

We don't need another hero...we've got MAD MAX
