well its often been argued on this forum about whether MAX just hits the brakes so fast and savagely at that speed, that he got severe hopping and spinning. I always thought he threw it in reverse, cause i swear i see those wheels spin backwards.
So ofcourse i had to try it, i went out onto a dirt road, made sure i was only doing about 50, incase it f**ked up (I don't know what 50 is to you yanks, probably 70 or something), and i threw it hard, yes it did spin, and stop, But it also made one loudarse grating sound and smelt real funny, that burnt oil clutch smell. f**k knows what i did to her, but reverse is a lot easier to get into now, no crunching anymore...
What kind of car? Try it with an old solid axle leaf-sprung RWD. You can get those wheels to hop like that no prob, especially with the fat tires. Did it in my modded V8 pickup (ute to you Aussies ) on a regular basis!
And 50 is only about 32 to us Yanks.

Actually while were on the subject my clutch has finally gone, from trying to do clutchys like the one MAX does when he leaves BUBBA's dead body in the smoke.
One of the dumber things i did is cycling away from a police car with my mountaine bike,it made me feel like one of the bikers from MM1,and i escaped from it 2,i went under a tunnel and hid in some bushes next to the tunnel,i don,t know why the idiots where chasing me because i didn,t do anything.But they where wery persistant,they went on a *cyclingroad* where cars are not allowed,and they went over the sidewalk.It,s not smart to *run* from police cars when u are on your bike.Bah

One night years ago at the local pub, a few of us were doing some burnouts at the front door. The publican was OK with this until the tyre smoke started filling the place !! he then got the sh*ts and called the bronze. One mobile unit parked across the road to try and stop a couple of us who had decided to take mercy on our rear tyres, and head home. We shot past the front of the patrol car, and he duly proceeded to give chase. We split up, and I was the unfortunate target of his close attention. So an escape plan became an immediate necessity.....
Bicycle lanes can come in really handy !! especially those that have the nice big steel frames at entry/exit points, to stop cars using them !!! After 'losing' the bronze in a couple of suburban streets, I belted down one which led to an 'underpass' under the road. Sat there for 10 minutes, had a relaxing ciggie while the sirens blared around overhead, then snuck home unscathed. A good night that one, I have much respect for bicycle lanes .......
well, i was playing NASCAR 4 with my MFP skin, and i was triying to overtake another pilot... he was a really tough one, so everything i tried to do a clean overtake, was useles... after a couple of lap full of useless moves, i made my decision: screaming "I AM THE NIGHTRIDER!!!", i "gently" put him on the wall, and i took the first position... too bad i got kicked from the server after that move... and REALLY too bad, it was around midnight, and my scream almost woke up the whole city...
I have a mate who insists on wearing a 1/2 face helmet everywhere. When he rides along the main road out the back of our place, he also insists on screaming out at the top of his lungs " DO YA HEAR ME TOECUTTAAAHHH.......I AM THE NIGHTRIDAAAHHHH" this is delivered at about 110 dB, our back verandah is only 50 metres from the road, so when you are out the back having a quite beer, and the faint rumbling of a R90S BMW appears, we all shut up and wait for the call !!!! this has blown away many visitors, who reckon I am a MM nutcase, they have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on !! I am sure the neighbours think us bikers are just plain crazy.........
