Who should do the music for MM4 and what should it be. I woul personally like to see at least one song on the soudtrack by Cradle of Filth. That would rule!

No music with lyrics. Something along the lines of May's work in MM/RW will do.

Anything pop culture (kid rock, eminem, or any of that other garbage) would disgust the hell out of me.

To integrate a song into the end or the beginning of a film is "a la mode". Tina Turner 's song's for BTD are unforgettable and a part of Mad Max's image ...

When I hear Tina singing, I must immediately think of BTD, even if the song is not from the film!

I am curious to know who will be the author and especially to know IF Fury Road will have a song or not!
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

I'd liek to see more from Brian Mays body of work. I watched Missing in Action 2 last week and Mr. May did the soundtrack. It and others May has created could be reborn in MM4.

Or how about the person who did the sound track fro Reign of Fire. It was straight out of May's handbook.

What about Hans Zimmer, he's good at big operatic scores to accompany action movies. He did "Black Hawk Down", "Gladiator" and "The Rock" to name but a few. you can see a full filmography at http://www.hanszimmer.info/ I think they'll get him if anyone.

Ankle, i'm not sure if it was missing in action 1 or 2 but the opening montage score of RW. was used for a certain scene, i seem to remember something to do with one of braddocks men being set on fire..........after he was dead.

Tycho, i've always been a fan of zimmer, his scores are exceptional, although i'm a massive fan of philip glass, i'm not sure his style would suite fury road.

I believe it was 2. RW music has been used for the temp tracks in many movies. My guess is that scene had a bit of temp track that never got replaced. (or it was a deleted scene that got reinserted in the editing room, and the track went with it.)

[div]Hans Zimmer always produces the same thing. His music is good, but always makes me think of Gladiator. The original music of Pearl Harbor is similar! Sorry![/div][/div]

I understand what your saying Bubba, but the same can be said for most composers, brian mays work in other films is always a close resemblence to mad max, as is james horner and alan sylvestry, there work is easily recognisable even before you read the credits, that's what makes a composers score different from the next. Hans zimmer's work is probably the most recognised but each score he does no matter how similar, fit's perfect the the movie subject matter.

When i hear the music of basil polidouris, it makes me think of robocop, but doesn't distract me from the movie i'm watching, basic style and sounds from an orchestra will always have there own distinct sound.
