... Jim Morrison, Elvis and all the others?

Do you think THUNDERDOME's un-deserved bad fame wasted his legendary status forever?

Mad Max isn't nearly as famous as Elvis. That's why it's considered a cult classic. Surprisingly few people know about the series. All the original fans are growing up while today's audiences are made up mostly of stupid kids.

No. Thunderdome certainly wasn't half as good as the previous movies, but it wasn't as bad as so many people say. It started off good, but they lost touch near the halfway point. The ending almost made up for the sappy Disney music and ridiculous characters.

Nah. Max can't sing like Elvis. He's more like a Buck Owens, maybe.

Max is the famous "Anti-Hero" like Clint Eastwood's Man with No Name, He does'nt play by the rules, but he gets the job done. And as a side note, I left Max in the middle of the Road, no ThunderDome to spoil my Anti-Hero Worship! He lives now only in my memory...........(FADE TO BLACK)

Jim Morrison and Elvis, those drugged up has-beens are nothing compared to Max. They would shrivel up and die in the wasteland.

Elvis is the King.

He's worth more now than when he was alive. He even had a number one single in 2002, albiet a remix. I've been to Graceland. Elvis lived the life that was free and full. We should all do as well.

Max has a different following.

No one can compete with a COW CAR driving warrior ruling upon a tribe of wild and weird kids, who spent most of his life in the Wasteland...

Then lucky for us he isn't like Michael Jackson.
