Which Car Was The Fastest?
Which Car Was The Fastest?
So I was watching Fury Road again (still impressed by the action) and I got to wondering what the fastest vehicle was in terms of straight line speed/acceleration. I think it's between Nux's rat rod and the Razor Cola Interceptor. What's your guess?
Re: Which Car Was The Fastest?
Well, having access to behind the scenes info - they were all really slow:)
Not to mention a lot of them were practically undrivable.
In the context of the movie - Razor Cola. Dual superchargers and nitro. It was the fastest.

I know the Gigahorse is slow in real life, but what kept Nux's car from being a rocket? Or the Razor Cola for that matter?

I find this hilarious.Taipan wrote:Not to mention a lot of them were practically undrivable.
On Facebook a guy who worked on the first film said the Interceptor was falling apart near the end of the first film and everyone hated driving it. He'd get stuck having to drive miles down the road to turn around for a reshoot.
Re: Which Car Was The Fastest?
That is very true. In the 2nd movie most of the cars were barely drivable, the Humungus' vehicle most of all + buggies. In Fury Road for example - Cranky Frank (which was made to do doughuts) had so little visibility out the cabin that it was a challenge not to crash into other cars. The Peacemaker was a nightmare, there were a few vehicles that were straight up removed from the movie because of their handling and lack of safety features. In other words - the world of Mad Max and cars is extremely unrealistic:)AquaCola wrote:I find this hilarious.Taipan wrote:Not to mention a lot of them were practically undrivable.

Re: Which Car Was The Fastest?
Not a car, but maybe the fastest actual vehicle on screen, clocked at 180kph ...?
