Future World (2018) - Fury Road style post apocalyptic movie

This looks VERY influenced by Mad Max Fury Road. Almost a rip off in terms of the visuals but I guess it's hard to do a dusty futuristic post apocalyptic movie without making it look exactly like Fury Road.

The trailer link is dead but I found one on Facebook. Looks good!!! Since its unlikely we will ever get another MM film I'm happy to have lots of clones. Some of the costumes are almost identical and the trailer is edited similar to Fury Road. I'll be seeing this in the cinema for sure!

Sorry about the link, I was on my work computer and we can't access youtube.

I agree I think it looks good too, very derivative but it's nice to have a Mad Max ripoff with some money behind it at least. James Franco is directing too.

"Prince meets Ash..."

With snoop dog as the love lord.

How does this not sound horrible?

I mean I don't have a problem with a decent knockoff, but this sounds like the work of another kid who grew up on too much tarentino who thinks unloading a bunch of references to pop culture and better movies onto the screen is a bunch of trendy easter egg cleverness.

But maybe that not a bad thing, people seem to like it.

But I'm already tired of tarentino doing that for the last 25 years, and another pop culture tarentino wannabe without the modicum of talent he still has left is even worse.

Although I do like James Franco in general.

He seems like a good sport and a decent guy even when 80% of the stuff he does and the person who he's always hanging around with are intolerable.

James Franco is great! He has the best smile.
Tomorrow I will get online casino sign up bonuses. I don't know how to play those online games at all. So I'm going to read it as soon as possible.

Not a very believable world they're presenting. A society advanced enough to produce a robot that human-like in appearance and thought would have left behind many artifacts that would be unrecognizable to us 2018 folks. But this movie is filled with cars and motorcycles from 2018, as opposed to 2068.

Also, meh. Mad Max movies are believable because they don't have androids and shit.

Whatevs. I might go see this. I hope it's good.

I watched this the other day. Its awful, like really really really bad. The acting, story and filming is a mess and comes across very amateurish like some kids tried to make a Fury Road stye film.

Its more like Waterworld than Mad Max really but still rips lots of scenes and characters straight from MM.
