Help Needed With Wording

Post by Phil1 »

As I've mentioned in a previous post, one of my next Projects will be Max's Yellow Interceptor, but, I need help with the Wording....

What I'm specifically needing help with, is, the Car Identification (for want of a better term)....

The 'M. ROCKATANSKY THE DARK ONE'

Is this on both sides, or just one?

Thanks for that :-)

Is the MFP Logo the same as on the Black one?

The one I used, which I got from a Decal Sheet I found online, said 'Maintain Right'....I've been told in a Facebook Group that was the correct one for the Black Interceptor

This is the Decal Sheet I made use of

We've only ever seen on the one side, but all replicas have both sides, since it adds to the look of the car

want decals? Look for 'aussie XB 4-door police pack'

Are you talking about The Black Interceptor?

I made that one already :-)

http://madmaxmovies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11841

I made the version from the first movie, and for the headlights, I used a small amount of sheet plastic (actually, the plastic that is on the packaging for Eveready Energizer AA Batteries), printed off the Decal Sheet, that I have included with this Topic, to the correct size, put that under the plastic (taped to the paper so it won't move), and Masked around the outside of the headlights as best as possible....

That done, I painted them as finely as I could, and made use of a pointed wooden skewer to try to neaten up the edges of the lines when that paint was dry

I'll just have it one the one side, then :-)

I'll be printing it off in Word, as I will with 'INTERCEPTOR' and the 508s, with as close to the correct background colour as I can....and obviously as close to the correct size as I can (obviously INTERCEPTOR will need to be in white), and glue them on just as I did with the 'Maintain Right' for the other Car, and will also be doing so for this one :-)
